Hi, I’m Kacey and I am a mom of one sweet and spunky toddler, wife to a quirky husband and pet owner of a cat, dog and 6 birds. I have owned many other kinds of pets as well, fish, hermit crabs, hamster, guinea pig, bunny, mice, and horses. I have also cared for chickens, goats, sheep, and turtles.

I would like to help you give your pets the best life possible. Learn from my experiences and my mistakes as well as I continue to learn about caring for different pets. I am always trying to learn more. The learning never stops!
I grew up with dogs, cats, birds, fish, horses and hamsters. I would volunteer to take home and care for the class pets on school vacations. I have owned a handful of pets including my own cats and horses. Along with babysitting I pet sat for the neighbors through out my childhood. My mom can recall me bringing injured wild animals home on a regular basis to try to “save” them, as well as the occasionally snake, frog and salamander.

For some reason I have always been the person people go to when they want to know about a certain animal or advice for their pet.
My most recent job before becoming a stay at home mom and blogger was a barn manager and riding instructor. The farm was part of a private grade school and they had everything from chickens to cats, to bunnies, to horses, to goats to sheep, to doves, and more.
My sister is also very much into animals and has a degree in wildlife rehabilitation. She was a veterinary technician at one point. Volunteered at the New England Aquarium in Boston, MA with the seals and sea lions. And now volunteers at a Wolf Sanctuary. So animals definitely run in the family.
